Fork, knife or heated knife?

The uncapping fork is the cheapest and most versatile tool, coping even with uneven combs. An uncapping knife is faster when the combs are capped flat. An electric heated knife slices through wax like butter and pays off when frame counts climb. For a beginner, we recommend starting with the fork.
