A hive scale logs the daily weight change of the hive and sends the data to your phone: you see when the flow starts, how much nectar the bees bring in each day, and when it's time to add or remove supers. Especially handy for out-apiaries far from home — no more checking trips for nothing. Many models also measure temperature and humidity inside the hive.
