How to choose a bee smoker

The smoker is essential kit for every beekeeper: cool smoke calms the bees and lets you work the hive in peace. Choose by apiary size — a small smoker is fine for a few hives, while for a dozen or more colonies a large smoker with an inner liner smoulders longer and stays cooler on the outside.
