How does a bee escape work?

Place the bee escape between the super and the brood chamber a day before harvest: the bees pass down into the brood nest but cannot return to the super. Next day you lift off a super that is almost bee-free — calmly, without smoke and without upsetting the colony. We stock rhombus (diamond) and round escapes to fit various crown boards and division boards.
