The stainless steel solar wax melter with a polycarbonate lid is a practical choice for beekeepers who want to obtain clean, yellow, and fragrant beeswax without extra work and energy costs. The sun provides the heating—just insert old combs and let the melter do its job.

Inside, on a sunny day, the temperature can rise to about 100 °C. That is more than enough to melt wax (wax melts at 60–65 °C).

After melting, the frame can simply be removed while still warm (using gloves), the remaining comb shaken off, and, if necessary, scraped with a spatula. This way, frames are quickly prepared for reuse.

Since the melter uses only solar energy, its operation is completely free and eco-friendly. Even a single melter can process a large amount of old comb and frames in a season.

The melting process usually starts after 15–20 minutes, and the entire process takes about 25–35 minutes. The result is clean wax free of coarse mechanical impurities.
