Description

The 15-frame Dadan horizontal hive is a traditional wooden beehive in which the brood nest is expanded horizontally by adding frames from the side. This design avoids lifting heavy supers during colony inspections, making the hive convenient for both beginner and experienced beekeepers.

The hive provides good wintering conditions for bees and allows for easy management of the colony throughout the season.

By default, the hive accommodates one honey super. If you wish to use two supers, this is possible after removing (unscrewing) the hive roof.

Important: the hive is sold empty, without frames or other accessories.
